-
CAN I USE MY EXISTING FOUNDATION?You can, but we don't recommend it. A mattress is only as supportive as the foundation and/or frame you place it on. A new foundaton and frame will ensure your mattress will be supportive and comfortable for the long haul.
-
CAN A NEW MATTRESS HAVE A BODY IMPRESSION?The first sight of what looks like wear in a brand new mattress can be alarming. Double check under your foundation to verify you have a center support leg on your frame. This is almost always the cause of a body impression in new and old mattresses alike. Next, make sure a broken slat on your foundation isn't causing the issue. If all checks out, your iniital body impression is likely a normal phenomenon. The foams and fibers beneath you are breaking in. Simply rotating your mattress end to end will ensure that the entire surface breaks in evenly, which will make those initial impressions disappear. If you stay on a schedule of rotating your mattress every couple of months, you will have a smooth, flat surface for years to come.
-
IS IT NORMAL TO FEEL SORE ON MY NEW MATTRESS?Yes, the unforunate truth is that it can take a few weeks to adjust to a new mattress. Your body is responding to being properly supported while you sleep. This sudden change creates minor inflammation, which goes away after a few weeks. After this period of temporary soreness, your body releases high levels of HGH and prolactin each night, helping your muscles and joints recover better than ever before. This is absolutely a "short term pain, long term gain" experience.
-
DO YOU OFFER EXCHANGES?Unopened sheets and pillows can be exchanged within 30 days from the purchase date. Mattresses, on the other hand, are non-exchangeable. Our mattresses are backed with a Lifetme Comfort Guarantee. At any time during the product warranty, you can have your mattress modified to be firmer or softer. The first adjustment is free, with the exception of transportation costs. Additional adjustments are available for a nominal fee.

WHAT ARE THE COMMON MATTRESS SIZES?Since we make our mattresses by hand, we can make them in just about any size or shape you could imagine. Here are the standard sizes: Twin - 38" x 75" Twin XL - 38" x 80" Full - 53" x 75" Queen - 60" x 80" King - 76" x 80" Cal King - 72" x 83" Split King - 38" x 80" each side Split Queen - 30" x 80" each side Split Cal King - 36" x 83" each side If you have a custom size or shape that needs to be made, please provide a template or a sketch at the time of order. It is normal for foundations, box springs, and adjustable beds to be built slightly smaller than these sizes so that they fit properly in a bed frame. Also, you should allow for variances in up to 1" in any direction for mattresses since they are cut and sewn by hand. Foundations are available in 9", 5.5", and 2" profiles to help manage the overall height of a mattress set.
