There’s a story behind every symbol, and at the heart of the retired Joplimo Mattress logo is a dragonfly—graceful, resilient, and full of meaning. It was more than just a design choice. It was a personal selection in honor of my brother who's life was cut short almost 25 years ago by suicide. There were thousands of dragonflies at his funeral and our family has since gifted each other jewelry or art with dragonflies. Since we learned that the dragonfly embodies transformation, hope, and the strength to rise above life’s most difficult moments. A fitting message in the wake of loss that I have shared over and over again to our customers, friends, and family.
It’s this very spirit that’s inspired a new chapter in the mission of Foreverbed.
I’m excited to announce the launch of our Foreverbed YouTube channel, a new platform dedicated to empowering people who are facing the often overpowering challenges of life. Whether it’s loss, hardship, self-doubt, or simply trying to find light in the darkness, this series is for you.
The show will be led by myself and my friend Austin Brown, someone whose heart for others and personal resilience make him the perfect partner in this project. Together, we’ll sit down with a new guest every episode—people with real stories of perseverance, healing, and growth. Our conversations will be raw, honest, and, most importantly, hopeful.
This isn’t just about telling stories. It’s about creating a space where people can feel seen, understood, and encouraged to keep going. If you’ve ever felt alone in your struggle, our hope is that you’ll find connection and strength in the voices we bring forward.
New episodes will be released biweekly, starting next month, and we’re building something we hope will grow into a community—a place to share, to listen, and to remind one another that transformation is possible.
The dragonfly doesn’t fear change. It embraces it. And that’s what we’re inviting you to do with us.
